Permanent makeup is a type of tattoo style that makes you appear as if you’re always wearing makeup. It is also known as micropigmentation or permanent cosmetics. We would recommend before a permanent makeup procedure to research different permanent makeup styles before your initial consultation.
We offer multiple permanent makeup procedures, these include:
Once a patch test is carried out, the technician may book you in for an appointment. If you receive a reaction to the patch test, the appointment is cancelled. If you have no reaction, we move on to the next step! The permanent makeup procedure.
The procedure is much like that of getting an actual tattoo. Permanent makeup technicians use a hollow needle that releases color into a hole in your skin. Although pigment is applied to the top layer of skin only, the procedure may still sting, just like it does when you get a tattoo. However, there are anesthetics that can be used before to help with the pain. Most appointment times last between 1 to 2 hours total. It takes about three weeks for the pigment to fade to the color you selected during your consultation
Eventually you may have to return to the salon for touch-up visits. Depending on your skin type you may require a top-up appointment after 3 to 6 months, whereas others may only require a top-up 12 months after the first procedure.
